The Daily Ritual
Whisk in the dawn. A quiet kit of bamboo, walnut, hinoki and linen — the few tools you actually use when you make a bowl of matcha at home. Hand-split bamboo from Anji. Walnut turned in small batches. Sized for one person, one bowl, one morning.
The practice
Heat the bowl. Sift two scoops of matcha. Pour 70 ml of soft water at 75°C. Whisk in a slow “M” until the foam settles into a fine, even crema. Drink it while it is warm. The whole thing takes four minutes.
Three ways to begin
- Daily Ritual Kit — bowl, whisk, scoop, stand. Everything to start, in one box.
- Essentials Set — whisk, scoop, holder. For drinkers who already own a bowl.
- Pro 100-Tine Bamboo Whisk — the single tool that decides whether the foam is rough or silk.
Joining the ritual soon
Five companions are in final sampling with our Anji and Zhuhai workshops — a walnut chasen holder, a bamboo naoshi for reshaping the whisk, a hinoki tea tray, a bamboo tea caddy, and a soft linen towel set. We will open them for order once the first batch passes inspection.
